The Fat Dog III – Noho is the second Restaurant & Pub we designed out of three. We also helped project manage the construction and obtain a working capital loan for the Mandevilles which in the end, they didn’t need. The building was home to a theater so structurally, we gutted the interior, building new walls where needed, separating the dining/bar area from the kitchen. We designed the working kitchen with equipment, created all of the working drawings, & obtained planning and health Dept permit approvals through the city of Los Angeles which is our expertise. We also helped get them a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) as we;; as a Liquor license.
We redesigned the large exterior parking lot creating an enticing atmosphere for outdoor Patio dining space. The 1000 sq. ft. Patio, was featured in the Thrillist Magazine as one of 17 Best Outdoor Dinning Patios in L.A. The design consisted of antique barn wood walls on one side and planter walls surrounding 2 other sides. We added various types of seating and dining including picnic tables, community tables, lounge seating under a canopy and a second enclosed bar.
